Japanese Poster – Matsubara
Japanese poster print Miho no Matsubara by Hasui
Reproduction of a Japanese print entitled Miho no Matsubara. A picturesque spot on the Miho peninsula, this beach lined with maritime pines offers a unique view of Mount Fuji (matsubara means “pine forest” in Japanese). Artist Kawase Hasui celebrates the beauty of this place, just as Hokusai and Hiroshige did before him. The beach has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site as a “sacred place and source of artistic inspiration”.
The poster is protected and delivered without frame, flat-packed in a cardboard box.
